Aaron Ristau’s mechanical sculptures are lighting modernities
Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Feb 17 2010
We all have fascination for art in some form or the other. A few carve it out in the form of sculptures, designs and paintings, while others have their curiosity gratified in appreciation. I for one belong to the latter bunch of geniuses, if there is a category of sort for us who fall here. Therefore, this blend of nostalgic aesthetics and modern function lived in the mechanical sculptures by Aaron Ristau is what’s impressed me lately. The sculptures here are functional assembly and intricate integration of reused stuff, which is relived as light and other kinds of sculptures. See more images after the jump.
