Small is something that is both cool and wonderful in modern life. It is amazing how perception of width and size have rapidly changed with the changing world and ever-altering technology. There was a time when a phone was considered a luxury and with in a space of a decade or two we have come to a place where the smallest and the best mobiles are almost considered a must. No wonder then that the ultra-thin and the ultra-compact revolution is now spreading to the PC world and is taking over.

Everex has recently unveiled the Everex mini, a CPU that features the company’s own gOS 2.0 running on a dual-core processor. An Intel T2130 dual-core mobile processor powers the PC, while using a 120GB HD for storage and 512MB of RAM. For multimedia, Everex chose the Intel GMA950 graphics processor and Realtek ALC268 audio hardware, and the system includes a DVD drive.

The Everex mini will be available from Newegg.com for $500. The PC looks more amazing from a back view than from the front to be honest! It features many ports for connectivity, such as gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, S-Video, DVI, and audio I/O ports. It also features a four-in-one card reader, which works with SD, MMC, Sony Memory Sticks and Memory Stick Pro. You will be stunned with the number of ports that you will find behind this little thing. The PC may not be part of a huge revolution but is another step towards the day when you will carry everything in your pocket and will be able to control multimedia with just thoughts! I’m not kidding, that day is not far away.
