Open rides seem a whole lot of fun even if they don’t pack too much power under the hood, and I seriously doubt if with a name like 2much!!! one could have gone wrong. 2much!!! is a kustom-style short-wheelbase (SWB) recumbent trike. It isn’t your flashy hot ride but it is still way cool. Its speed does not go beyond 10 as yet but it is good enough for a leisurely cruise around the block. A comfortable leather-over-foam seat sits atop three 20″, 72-spoke lowrider wheels. The makers even put in a 30-watt audio system and speakers in the comfy ride. Everything about this trike is solid and heavy, right from the seat to the sliding cage for seat. 2much is even good enough for a night time whiff of fresh air. There’s a ‘39 Ford repro tail-light with a glass lens and the front fender-lights are the usual truck clearance lights with modifications. The headlights have been tweaked with inclusion of major halogen lamps to throw a mean light. A motorcycle battery housed in the rear takes care of all the power needs. At the front of the boom is the 3-speed gear shifter, which controls a Shimano SIS front derailleur. Mechanically inclined follow the link at the end for more technical details. Jump to see few more images of this cool and custom-built bike which seems to be quite a fav of kids. 2much is sure to elicit some envious looks from onlookers as it makes way down the street.
