A kind of stepping stone in this technology is the robotic chair developed by Peter Lynch. Although it is just a tailpipe beginning, it could well act as a cornerstone for much advancement to come. Imagine a chair that disintegrates itself into shuttered pieces and then within a performance time of 6 to 12 minutes manages to unify as one again.
