Little Big Man 2008 - A robot within a robot

A mechanical sculptor, Nemo Gould has put together the Big Man robot from junk materials ranging from vacuum cleaner parts to chair legs and has even used floor polisher. The Robot stands at a very tall 8 feet and has a little robot that controls it. Now, if you are thinking that the Big Man is a robot that can do all the household functions like an android robot, you are mistaken. All the Big Man robot can do is to move it's hands fore and aft and it can also move it's mouth up and down. The imposing robot has a smaller robot aka Little Man in it's chest which moves a set of levers to make the Big Man go through it's movement routine. Coming to the Big Man's looks, the robot looks pretty good for it's garbage dump parts and even manages to look a little devilish with the reindeer horns jutting out from the robot's head. The small robot looks very neat and compact and can be viewed from the viewing window situated in the Big Man's chest. Watch one more pic followed by a vid after the jump.
