A new video encoder for PSPs from Neuros

Neuros have just released a Neuros MPEG-4 recorder for PSPs which will allow the users to add more to their media files on PSPs.

You can record video of any analogue source, and then encode it onto the PSP's proprietary memory format, the memory stick pro duo. The Neuros also automatically record the correct resolution for your PSP, namely 368 by 208, although it can also handle resolutions of 320 by 240 and 640 by 480. The Neuros also support MPEG-4 with AAC-LC stereo sound.

One can also plug the player into the TV and use it like a VCR. The recorder also allows you to encode the videos in four different qualities.

Sony's PSP has one major advantage over their competitor Nintendo's DS: it can play video stored in its memory stick.
