A gaming robot peripheral patented by Sony

It’s only rare that things remain secret for so long. Now then, Sony has a new patent application, difficult to believe though, but it could be true. The patent is for an add-on gaming robot, which will react to both the game and the user. Filed in June last year, the patent is for a robot that moves around the room detecting the environment, and then displaying the same on the integrated screen. The robot’s to be equipped with wheels, acceleration sensors, camera, microphone and speakers to carry out the desired objectives, like listening and responding to user commands. The robotic peripheral is also expected to include a gyro sensor and a GPS receiver for better hinder-free mobility, but in actuality we aren’t sure what the bot's really suppose to do… any guesses, leave a word below.
