A-DATA, the second largest memory solutions company, has just released their newest and fastest memory module yet. The CompactFlash card, called Turbo Series CF 350X, is available in 8GiB and 16GiB models and provides a maximum read speed of 52Mbps and a maximum write speed of 47Mbps. It can also support dual-channel data transferring and UDMA 0-5 mode as well as MDMA 0-4 mode. Although it has some awesome features, the price tag on the card has yet to be announced.
For anyone thinking of buying this device, you might wanna start selling off those collector’s items in advance because this chip is sure going to cost a pretty penny. With it weighing in at only 11.3 grams, it also has to be the lightest chip as well. I believe, though, this is only meant for serious photographers who have that kind of money to push around. So you weekend photographers, better ship out now because this is probably out of your budget range.
