Joining the list of inventors who’ve developed this knack of building something out of nothing, Travis Taylor, a handyman-turned-artist has commissioned this 10 feet tall robot to guard his driveway in Springfield. Made from scrap metal and old Yamaha motorcycle parts, the giant attack robot is gorgeously threatening.

The final product has recognizable motorcycle parts: the gas tank is the head, the exhaust pipes extend down the back like a jet pack, the drive chain is draped through an arm-mounted Gatling gun like an ammunition belt. But there are non-motorcycle parts, too. The pelvis is made from a piece of an old weight-lifting machine, and there’s a large soup can in the middle of the torso.
Taylor is presently working on a smaller sculpture of a similar kind of robot, and if you fall lucky you could own one to guard your gate. I say this because Taylor “has entertained offers to sell the sculpture.”
