And to add to that - is the recent spurt of innovative technologies especially in the field of displays and computer specifications, and the nigh peripatetic lifestyle of an average urban customer. This is where these gaming laptops with high resolution screens, powerful processors, and beefy graphic chips come into the picture, to act as trusty companions to the hardcore gamers as well as the casual ones who stay in their 'character', whether on a business trip or traveling with their family, or just to kill time during office hours.

2. Alienware Area-51 M17X:
Alienware always manages to bring about those futuristic, sci-fi visions into our minds with their alluring computer designs, and even more so with it's product name - Area 51. But it should be the high specs we should be worried about - Alienware Area-51 M17X comes with a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000 processor, dual GeForce 9800M GT graphics cards, and up to 4GB of RAM. According to Laptop Magazine’s play tests, you can expect upwards of 150 frames per second on Call of Duty 4 at 1024 x 768 resolution. Though a little on the older side (released back in 2008), this machine can easily outperform the comparable Asus G50V A1 and the cheaper Gateway P-173XL FX.
