Just a year back, Google launched its telecommunication service. The Gmail like web based Google voice can be used to do free PC to PC voice and video chat via a plug-in available freely for Windows, Mac and other major operating system. It has special features for US based users where they can make domestic as well as international phone calls via their cell phone app. In August 2011, many countries have given access to make outbound domestic and international number via the web based Google Voice. Google Voice is quite popular but with advent of latest hack apps, it has become easier to use. Here are five simple tricks that you can do to enhance the performance of Google Voice.

1. Integrate it with Skype
You can set it as your caller ID for Skype. As you are already familiar, the Skype is a P2P web based free client that can be used for calling PCs as well as landlines. However, the biggest problem of Skype is that the call receiver can never recognize your calling number. Integrating it with Google Voice can solve this problem. Google Voice has a very easy process to merge with Skype, which can be found even in Google Voice. After that, when Skype adds your Google Voice number, you can call other phones via Skype and the receiver will receive your number only.

2. Integration with GPS system to decide the call receiving options
The Google Voice can be time managed. You are out of home from 9 to 5 so your cell phone will be for contact otherwise, you receive your call on your VoIP client based PC. However, there is always no fixed time for you to reach back. If you integrate Google Voice with your GPS, then whenever you are out your home location, you will be contacted via your cell phone only. There is beta app called as Google Voice Location, which you can install and configure to use GPS of your phone to merge with Google Voice.

4. Use it for free
Most of the phone networks allow few numbers calling under their unlimited free plan. You can call these numbers without any charge. You can set your Google Voice number as your friend has and put that under the free calling plan of your telephone service provider. Now you can call any number via Google Voice free. This will reduce your phone calling rents to bare minimum. However, the service can be used only in those countries where Google Voice can be used to make outbound free calls.

5. Use it on iPhone
Most of iPhone users do not know that even when Apple has banned the use of Google Voice on their servers; it can still work well. There is hack called as GV MAX, available in the market, with which you can use Google Voice in your iPhone too. The Google even made a workaround path to work with GV phones that can be pretty well used to connect your iPhone.
