SGI, the company which manufactures high quality computer hardware and software, is also famous for its 3D systems. Many people have in fact turned it into a hobby, to make new accessories and gadgets for older SGI products, which are available at inexpensive prices. One such guy was inspired to construct 3D glasses for the Silicon Graphics. It is expedient to look for LCD shutter glasses before attempting to do this, as you might not look good and not see anything properly either. The idea of the project was to connect the 3D glasses to the StereoView Port from an SGI. In order to build the board, all you need is an LM324 and you just have to follow the circuit and you will have you 3D glasses for the old system ready and you can play Hacknoid. Now, you must be wondering why someone must take so much of trouble to probably play a game from the year 1995? Well, the idea is to develop the idea further to see if more applications can be used in an innovative manner.
