With fierce competition driving portable media player vendors up the wall, the push is on to capture the consumers’ imagination. Since technology takes its own sweet time to evolve, pricing and internal memory have become the main bones of contention. Apple took the lead a few days back when they increased the capacity of its iPod touch from 16GB to 32 GB. it also bumped the PMP’s price up from $399 to $499. Using the opportune moment to dig into a piece of the Apple pie, Creative not only introduced a 32GB Zen PMP of their own, but also set its retail price at $299. That’s what you pay for an 8GB iPod touch! Though feature-wise the Zen compares better to nano but the pricing has made it more attractive than a hot date with Angelina Jolie!
