On 12 October I did a story on two scientists who have created a giant seamless display system and it measures 27x15 ft. Here is some more info on it. The screen requires 20 computers networked, with multiple graphic cards so that they could break the image and process 60 million pixel display.

The computers are also required to break algorithms into 80 smaller sections and then they are required to blend the image so as to have a seamless display.
What does it cost in terms of power consumption the display guzzles 30,000 watts (who is going to pay the bill in the end) and is priced at $100,000 which when compared to 103-inch Panasonic Plasma price of $69,999.95 is not at all bad.
