Western digital have come up with a new 1TB My Book Pro II external hard drive.
You get 1TB of space to store data and the new drive is configured for RAID 0, which helps span data across both the 500 GB drives.
This drive can be configured to RAID 1 where by the data on one 500GB disc gets mirrored and you get the security if the drive fails. The drive can be connected externally via USB 2.0, FireWire 400and FireWire 800.
All this comes in the sleek package of mere 26 square inches. This external hard drive is priced at $513.49.
