1GHz Chinese Dragon chip works as perfectly as 2GHz Pentium IV?

The 'Dragon 2E Chip' developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) parallels a 2GHz Pentium 4 in performance. Equipped with tens of millions of transistors is the chip is performing pretty well as per the trials. The low cost chip will go into limited production in June.
Systems embedded with these chips will be commercially produced by Chinese semiconductor company BLX IC Design.
