iPad’s official launch in April initiated the a new kind of battle in the gadgetry dome, with Apple creating a niche in its own rights. Pitched as a product that caters to users who like the power-packed functionality of a laptop/Netbook and the portability of a smartphone, iPad apparently has much more to offer than was evident when it burst into the scene. Two months down the line iPad seems to have filled in all the hardware and application program loop-holes, all thanks to the dev. teams for their amazing apps courtesy iPhone SDK 3.2, iPad programming guide, sample code and human Interface guidelines. And how can we forget the nifty hacks (hardware and firmware) that extended the iPad limits to a whole new level.
