
One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project looks to be gaining steam. The project introduced $100 affordable notebook that is given name 2B1 skilled of creating mesh network, having capability to interconnect two computers without an Internet. Both computers can operate internet automatically with just one internet connection.
The 2B1 possess TFT flat screen measuring 7.5′ and 1200 x 900 pixels resolution.Indented with AMD 400MHz Geode processor, it comes with 128MB of RAM and 512MB of SLC NAND flash memory. The VoIP-embeded notebook contains a webcam, SD card reader, three USB 2.0 docs, a mic, and a speaker. The gadget is expected to survive for 5 years.
