Is there a way to download palm pre apps on computer then transfer it over to your Palm pre?

You need to set up a new Palm Profile. Are you using it on a carrier.If on a carrier then what you probably need to do is back up all your photos musiwhatever to your PC using the USB transfer. If you need to back up your contacts and you're not sure your Palm Profile is working then you'll need to back them up using this method here.Next go into the Device Info app and tell it to erase data and restart. You can do a Partial Erase and it should leave the USB file intact but it's a good idea to back up. Then set up a new HP Palm Profile when the phone restarts.If you're using it WiFi then you need to use the Meta Doctor tool from Web SInternals to create a doctor that bypasses activation but allows you to set up a new profile. There may also be a homebrew app that allows you to set up a new Palm Profile. You might hop on to the Web Internals wiki and check that out.To restore your contacts I suggest just importing the CSV into a Google mail account as contacts and using that from the Pre.You can use Web Quick Installer to install Homebrew apps from your PC.Thank you
