From where I can download gadgets for windows xp?


I recently purchased a desktop and it is working quite well. After using it for few days I just felt the need of using the windows gadget which is on the front of screen, but after searching for long time I was in shock to know that there is no windows gadget in my desktop pc. So I am in search of free windows gadgets for my xp. If any of you have any idea about the gadgets or how can I download it or know the procedure of downloading, please send the information, with website name and proper link attached to it.
