Why documents and settings access denied in windows 7?

I have administrative account in my system but still I am facing problem in opening my documents and settings folder as it says that I don't have the required permission. I have even tried to change the security settings to allow me full control, but still it is not letting me to open it. I do not know what the problem is…..any idea.

Documents and settings folder in windows 7 is a symbolic link. It is not a real folder. It is The Documents and Settings folder is a Symbolic Lin and it is not a real folder and cannot be accessed or used like a real folder. In windows 7 c:users folders is the replacement for the doc and settings folder. You will see a shortcut arrow on that folder.
