What is the difference between google apps standard vs premium ?

I got news recently that Google has come up with recent splash as a cost effective, cloud computing apps that are graded as standard and premium. I just want to know more about it. What is the main difference between google apps standard vs premium. One of my best friends is using standard version and it is free. I just want to know that which one among standard and premium is much better to use.

With Google Apps, users can use applications such as Gmail webmail service, Google Calendar calendaring service, Google Docs program, Google Sites web application, for business on their own domain to work collaboratively more effectively. The Standard edition is free, ad-supported with basic features and a 7GB email storage limit. The Premium edition costs $50/user per year and has many more features like smart phone support, live tech support and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Regardless of which edition you choose, you can run your entire organization on Google Apps and keep your domain name.
