Why are my desktop gadgets for windows xp not working?

I have recently purchased a desktop pc which is inbuilt with windows xp, it is working quite well. But after using it for few days, I have realized that the windows xp gadgets are not working with windows xp like the clock, weather etc. I am really pissed off because, I am confused what to do, it’s been just four weeks to my new PC and it is giving such issues. If any of you have any information or solution to this problem, please help by sending your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.

Some time windows gadget stop working. There may bedifferent reasons behind the stopping of your Microsoft gadgets. It may behappening due to some virus or it may be happening due to some of your OS files has got corrupted or it may be happening due to the software that you have installed recently. So for the proper checking of the reason behind the stopping of yourMicrosoft gadget. First of all check the status of your antivirus. If it is updated and working very well than try to remember the software that you have recently installed. After that uninstall that software and try to rerun that. If your gadget resume its services than it is ok. If still not than it is happening due to your OS has got corrupted, For that you have to reinstall that. After that Try to install your Microsoft gadget again and check if it is working, if yes than now your problem has been removed permanently.

It was really fun to help you on this.
