Can anyone tell me about dell dimension 3000 spec?

I want to buy dell dimension 3000 desktop but I do not know about it in detail. I have heard that it has Intel's 865G chipset, which has plenty of benefits, such as dual-channel support, 400MHz DDR memory and provide Intel's extreme graphics 2 technology. But motherboard does not provide any AGP slot for graphics card upgrades. So tell me about dell dimension 3000 spec in detail so that I can buy this.

The Dell Dimension 3000 is an affordable designed to handle essential multimedia demands for the home user. The Dimension 3000 comes with the latest processor and memory technology, and does not break your budget. It is ideal for home offices looking for a key performance at an affordable price in a scalable and expandable system. The Dimension 3000 delivers the performance for basic computing needs today and in the future.
The good

Highly configurable, excellent warranty and support coverage, large well-designed keyboard with audio controls.

The bad

No AGP slot, does not deliver competitive feature set for the money, poor performance can not be easily updated.

The bottom line

This is a budget PC configurable and well-supported, but the Dell Dimension 3000 trails eMachines in terms of performance and features.
It's six of one and a half dozen of the other with low-cost Dell Dimension 3000. This desktop is a budget system and the support that offers a high degree of customization, but when it comes to features and performance, the 3000 loses its competitor eMachines budget. At $ 636, our Dimension 3000 test system is a bit more expensive than fixed-configuration eMachines $ 599 T3256, but its only advantage is the fact that Dell includes a monitor in its price (though a puny, of 17-inch CRT). Dell is often the cost leader when it comes to desktops, but eMachines has overcome in the economy class.
The Dell Dimension 3000 is based on the Intel 865G chipset, which offers plenty of advantages, such as support for dual-channel, 400 MHz DDR memory and Intel Extreme Graphics 2. But we were hurt to see that the board does not offer an AGP slot for graphics card upgrades. (Although Extreme Graphics 2 is an improvement over previous Intel integrated graphics chips, which still has limitations.) The same applies to slot floppy drive: unless installing a Dell at the time of the purchase, the slot is blocked and therefore useless. And there is no practical option to add a card reader media - a choice that all current models eMachines offer.
System configurations
Dell Dimension 3000
Windows XP Home SP2, 2.66 GHz Intel Celeron D 330, Intel 865G chipset 512 MB DDR SDRAM 400 MHz, 96 MB (shared memory) integrated Intel 865G, Seagate ST340014A 40 GB 7,200 rpm
Main attraction of the Dimension 3000 is the fact that it is highly configurable via the Dell website, while sales systems eMachines T3256 ship as it is. Our Dimension 3000 test system comes with a Celeron processor at 2.66 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, and DVD-ROM and CD-RW. You can, of course, is configured with a faster processor, including Pentium 4, more memory and higher-end optical drives. You would do well to upgrade the small 40GB hard drive is in our test system, which provides a quarter of the ability to drive the T3256 is. For companies seeking a low cost, low cost PC, Dell OptiPlex SX280 offers many of the same options in a more compact case.
