Is it possible to delete Cydia apps without jailbreaking iPod?

I had already done the process of Jailbreaking my iPod and installed Cydia. I then updated my iPod and now no longer wants to jailbreak it again, but I still have all the apps and games which I had downloaded earlier and it’s taking up memory. How do I delete it without having to jailbreak iPod and get Cydia again? Is it possible to delete Cydia apps without jailbreaking iPod? If not possible then, what can I do about it? I would really appreciate your useful assistance regarding this. Thanks

Attach the iPod touch, iPhone or the iPad to the computer and then open iTunes. Click on the device in the sidebar, then just press the sync and then allow it to finish the backup. Press your restore option in the Summary window. If the iTunes asks you if you want to just back up the first, pick which Don't Back Up, until you were unable to just sync properly before restoring, in that case pick the Back Up instead. Click on the restore to just confirm your process and then wait while your device restores and then reboots. Pick the option to just restore from the backup after the device finishes rebooting and then reconnects to the iTunes. Select your most recent backup from your drop down menu and then click on the continue option to transfer all your data back to your device. Because the Cydia does not install through the iTunes, it will not transfer back during the restore, effectively deleting all the program permanently.
