How to create a dvd iso?

I have a game saved n my computer hard drive. I want to burn an ISO image and give it to a friend. Can anyone tell me how to create a DVD iso? Which programs can I use to do this operation? Where to find them?

Unless we are very new to this computing "more than enough reason to read this tutorial," which more or less we have faced ever having to handle an ISO file and we have solved more or less success, "a friend, chat partners support iv (lol), etc, etc ..." We have taken the trouble momentarily, but we have probably remained as before, without knowing who they are.

Games, software, DVD movies, operating systems (OS), interactive courses, etc ... are candidates to make sure backups in this format as an ISO image maintains the original properties.

Many of the downloads from the Internet we come in this format.

What is a file or ISO image?

An ISO image is a file that stores a copy or exact image of a filesystem, usually on a compact disc (like a CD or DVD). It is governed by the standard ISO 9660 International Organization for Standardization. (Source: Wikipedia)

What can we do with an ISO image?

We can do two things:
1 .- Burn it (burn) a CD / DVD to have our "whatever" in a safe and portable
2 .- Save it to your hard drive and when we need to mount a virtual drive to use it.
Virtual Drive is a space created by a program within our hard drive that emulates a CD / DVD, when we mount a ISO on the virtual drive as if the original disc grazes the Reader / Writer on your PC.

There are several programs that can create virtual drives: Alcohol 120%, UltraISO, Daemon Tools, Nero, PowerISO, etc ... depending on the program will also serve to create, edit, convert and burn ISO files.

While each program has its own native format image that can be considered and managed as ISO.

NRG: The format of Nero
CIF: The format of Adaptec Easy CD Creator program.
CCD: The Clone CD software format.
BWI: The format of the program BlindWrite.
MDF: The format of the program Alcohol 120%.
CSO: The format of the program Daxter Creator. Also known as Picture or CISO Compressed ISO.
FIU: The format of the program MagicISO. An acronym for Universal Image File.
ISZ: The format of the program UltraISO (ISo Zipped).
DAA is the format of the program PowerISO

As I said in another tutorial ISO files can have different look (icon that represents it) as the program they are associated, but are easily identified by its extension.
