How can I create a bootable windows 7 volume on a flash drive?

There was a time when we used floppies and CDs for storing data but these days flash drives have become so prevalent that you can find their presence everywhere. So I was wondering if I can create a bootable windows 7 volume on a flash drive. I do not have a Windows 7 CD so how I can I create this?

You may need to initiate or start the computer using the Windows installation disk 7 or USB flash drive if you want:

Install or reinstall Windows 7. For detailed instructions on installing Windows 7, see Installing and reinstalling Windows 7. For information about how to download Windows 7 and create a USB flash drive to install Windows 7, go to Installing Windows 7 on in the Windows website.

If the computer does not start Windows, you can access Startup Repair and other tools in the Options menu system recovery disc or USB flash drive install Windows 7. These tools can help make Windows 7 run again. For more information, see Startup Repair: frequently asked questions and What are the system recovery options in Windows 7

Turn on the computer for the current version of Windows is started normally and then do one of the following:

If you have an installation disc of Windows 7, insert the disc into your computer. The installation should start automatically.Otherwise, click the Start button, click Computer, double-click the DVD drive to open the Windows installation disc 7, and then double click setup.exe.

If you downloaded Windows 7 on a USB flash drive, insert the drive on your computer. The installation should start automatically.Otherwise, click the Start button, click Computer, double click the drive and then double click setup.exe.

Choose the bootable CD option, otherwise this CD will not boot up.
