1. Shake 'em away

Have you ever had 10 Notepad, two Powerpoint and Outlook 50 windows open? Want to minimize all but the most important? In Windows 7, you can grab the top of the window and wave about to drive away all other open windows. Simple.

2. Jumplists

Jumplists are a new feature that will give you the option to view a list of recently used filesby the application, even when the application is not open, right clicking the application iconin the taskbar. It also lets you quickly access a favorite playlist without opening your media player. Jumplists is also integrated into the Start menu.

3. A step forward in the preview

In Vista, hovering over a minimized window on the taskbar that provide a preview of the window. In Windows 7, a preview appears similar which also gives the option to close a window (in preview), along with 'look' at full size.

4. Snap into place

Simply drag the window to the left or right edge of the desk to break and change thewindow size to half of the screen. Drag the window to the top to maximize. A good ideamade more orderly by using keyboard shortcuts (Win + corresponding arrow keys). You do not have that frustrating position of the mouse on the edge of the window to resize it.

5. XP Mode

This time, you do not have to slap your head as well as Vista does not run an XPapplication. For applications that do not work in Windows XP 7, XP Mode can downloadfree from the Microsoft website and run XP applications in an emulated environment on Windows XP 7. Imagine Parallels on Mac OS X without having to fish out extra money on an operating system.

6. An easier and faster to set multiple screens

Do you constantly connect your computer to different external monitors or projectors, especially at work? Try Win + P, and replication or extension of your screen to monitorothers it takes just a second. Win + P is presented with a menu Alt + Tab style, which is great if you get a lot of presentations at work in your laptop.

7. A custom scenario for the device

With one unit and printers' the new button on the Start menu, devices that are connected to your computer can have its own stage. The Device Stage compatible devices presents aphoto-realistic rendering and a link to the website of the supplier, together with other updates and other useful information
