What to do with the constant overheating of PC?

Lately I have started facing some strange problems with my PC, where it freezes every time I start playing a game on it which eventually forces me to shut it down and restart it. I thought it was some software problem that I was facing but yesterday when I suddenly laid my hands on the top of the case I felt it too hot. I am almost certain that overheating is the cause of my problems. Can anyone advice me whether what should I do to solve this problem? Should I buy a new cooler for my video card?

You can easily solve this problem by purchasing a new CPU cooler for your PC. Some time when we play the heavy games for the long time our PC get over heated and the main reason behind these problem is either the CPU cooler is not working properly or we are playing to heavy game for the PC.
