Is connecting mac mini to tv possible?

Hi all, Is connecting mac mini to tv possible as I find it quite impossible because When i connect my mac mini (G4-Tiger) to my samsung (ln52a750) LCD TV with a HDI-DVI cable, I get "no Signal" on the screen.I don’t have that good hand on it but what all I have searched in google to do it I tried it all but ended up with hard luck.So can some one give me a simple step by step procedure to connect mac mini to tv possible. It will be a great help fiends and I will really appreciate it.

In TUAW have posted an interesting tutorial for doing something that many people have already made and others are planning to do: connect a Mac mini to a TV so I have taken the liberty of making a rough translation and here I leave it.

"After seeing the new product from Apple (AppleTV) one wonders what's next?. Is it a radio?. Does a banana TV? Or something similar. But why not forget about new devices and connect directly to the TV with a Mac mini that we would have full connectivity, full support and we could watch any video without problems
You save the $ 300 it costs AppleTV and if you already have a Mac mini, the only cost would be the cable-adapter!.
If your Mac mini has wireless connectivity (something more than likely) and you have more computers at home, you could access the contents of these and watch it on TV without Apple TV.
You can play many more formats than Apple TV.
No restrictions such as "Authorized up to 5 machines."
You can browse the internet normally (web, email, etc.).
If you can use the apple remote but you can also use a wireless keyboard and mouse to make full use of the computer.

Just last Friday afternoon I picked up my new MacMini to set up a MediaCenter in the room and I swear that I had trouble deciding whether to open that Friday or Saturday I took him to an "unboxing" collective, but as we saw, I could not contain anxiety

The subject. The idea was to connect to the TV 28-inch pipe to the room I think you still have a couple of years. I tried to connect using the adapter MiniDVI to S-Video and components that it has worked without fault for connecting the MacBook over the past two years from time to time. The TV no signs and the settings I'm doing through the fantastic "Screen Sharing" from the MacBook.

It seems that the change disables the previous graph MiniDVI connector to component video / S-Video.According to the English wikipedia, that connection is not possible: "With the release of the March 2009 revision of the Mac mini, the computer now the 9400M GPU and Supports Mini Display Port technology to more high resolution Easily run average. It is Also no Longer Compatible with composite or S-Video. "
