How to completely remove uninstalled apps from Blackberry Curve 3G?

I just bought a Blackberry Curve 3G, and installed a few apps, including the facebook chat app. Later, I decided that I don't really like the format or layout or sounds that it makes, so I uninstalled it. But now, whenever I am chatting with someone on facebook on my desktop, my phone also makes a noise saying that I have a new message. How to completely remove uninstalled apps from Blackberry Curve 3G? I have even tried to remove the battery and then restarting the phone but found no success. Please advice accordingly. Thanks.

Though the uninstalled applications do not occupy any space on the memory of your Blackberry Curve 3G but if you still want to remove these uninstalled applications then it can be done very easily. All the uninstalled applications are stored on the server of App World and you have to remove them by logging into the My World. After logging into My World, you have to select the application to be removed completely from the handset. Once you have selected the application, press ALT key followed by typing letters RST.

Now, switch off your Blackberry Curve 3G and leave it as it is for about 10 seconds. When you switch on the cell phone, you would be glad to know that all your uninstalled applications are out of your App World forever. There is no impact on the performance or storage capacity of Blackberry Curve with numerous applications which do not come in your use now. But, presence of so many applications on App World makes it look cluttered and you have to search for long for your favorite app.

Thus, to escape through all this inconvenience while using App World, try to follow these steps and get rid of uninstalled applications completely.
