Why does my Chrome crashes with Facebook?

Everytime that I try to open Facebook on my system Google Chrome comes up with a sad face and says that there has been an error. The same thing happens while I try to open up Wikipedia pages, in this instance the page shows around for two to three seconds and then again the same thing happens. This is not limited only to Facebook and Wikipedia but it happens to a large variety of pages. Any idea about why is this happening to me? Is there anything that I can do about it?

Answer: As compared to other web browsers, Google chrome is truly fast with great set of apps. There are rare cases, where Chrome shows error to open a particular webpage like Facebook or the other sites. Here listing some reasons for the error,

  • You would be using an old or outdated version, or
  • Your chrome would be crashed due to some Trojan or virus, or
  • There would be some error caused during chrome installation or
  • Failing to run the chrome set-up as per to the instructions, or
  • Your system OS would be crashed.

If these are the real cause, then the solution is quite simple. You have to uninstall the particular software Google Chrome and try reinstalling it from the trusted Google website. To uninstall the software, follow these simple ways, My Computer Control Panel-Add or Remove programs select Google Chrome-click uninstall. Once you complete the ways, browse with internet explorer to download the latest chrome version. Follow the instructions as provided while running the set-up. If incase, you are using an old version of chrome, just update it or reinstall the new version. And after installing, I am sure you would be able to enjoy browsing all the websites including Facebook, Wikipedia with book marking pages for quick launch of the site. Update the antivirus at regular schedules to stay free from future errors. Hope these suggestions are helpful, but if chrome fails to show error in spite of new version installation, it is better to check your OS.
