How can i change user agent android?


Can some one tell me that how can I change user agent android? I want to change the default browser user agent to a Desktop user agent.As one of my friend told me to follow this process Open the browser, type in "about:debug" into the address bar. Then, menu > more > settings, scroll down to UAString and select "Desktop".However I tried doing it many times but it ended with no result.So kindly help me out by giving me a complete process as How can I change a user agent android?

This is the complete process how you can change youruser agent android. All you need to do is, Open your browser, enter about:debuginto the address bar, hit the button ‘go’ on your keyboard—don't tap the search/URL suggestion that comes up. You'll notice that the browser now does, well, nothing. But then hit the Menu key, choose the option that says ‘more’, then select the Settings. Scroll down a bit, and you will notice a new collection of advanced options right there, that includes a ‘UA-String’ option. Click that option, then choose between desktop, android or iPhone user-strings that changes the browser web sites think you're visiting with. This works in current stable Cyan-ogen-mode for G1. It causes the MSNBC page to load MUCH more slowly. What I want is to default to their basic mobile site without it being over ridden that everytime I visit, but I suspect that is an MSNBC issue that is appearing down there, rather than anything I can do in the browser … thank you..
