How can I change GPS navigation software from Google maps to Navigon on my Android?

I have a Samsung galaxy s2, when I started voice talk and told it to navigate to a destination, the first time it gave me an option to choose either Navigon mobile GPS, or Google maps. I chose Google maps, and now it always defaults to Google maps. How can I change it back to either give me a choice every time or set Navigon as the default navigation software? I went to "Manage applications", but couldn’t find any preset defaults there. How can I change GPS navigation software from Google maps to Navigon on my Android? Please advice. Thanks.

Hi there, you were going in the right way, just need to go a little further.

  1. Go to the Settings either by opening the Settings link, or by going to your home screen > menu > settings.
  2. Choose "Applications."
  3. Choose "Manage Applications."
  4. Select the 'All'-tab on the top, inside the "Manage Applications."
  5. Locate & tap on the "Google Maps" app.
  6. Now tap on the "clear defaults" button.

That'll do it, now you can select another new app instead of G-Maps for GPS navigation.

Hope this works out.
