How do I change the font size when printing a web page in Hotmail?

I have a HP Laser 1020 printer, it has been just 3 months with the printer and it has been working hassle free for the last 3 months that I have been using it. But recently I started facing some strange problems while I printed any web page in Hotmail. Actually whenever I print any web page from hotmail it looks smaller on the printed page then I would like it to be. Is there a way that I can change the size of what is printed? Is it possible to change the font of everything be it text, graphics or anything?

The font size and style of a web page while printing can easily be changed. Please make small changes in your browser settings. The settings suggested here are for Mozilla Firefox, version 8.0. These can be performed on other versions too. You need to follow following steps:

  • Open Mozilla Firefox browser on your system.
  • Click Tools in its Menu tab.
  • Then, in the Tools section, click Options.
  • You will notice Content button in the horizontal list, placed at the top of Options box. Click Content in the horizontal list.
  • There you will notice a Default Font section. You will also notice the option for font size besides the Default Font Section. Select the font type and size of your choice.
  • Now, click the Advanced button
  • Uncheck the “Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above.
  • Click OK and again click OK.
  • Now, open sign into your Hotmail account
  • Open the mail that you want to print.
  • Click the printer icon on Hotmail tab
  • Printer box opens up. Now, in the Name section, select the connected printer
  • Click Ok

Now, you will get a print out of the web page with the selected font style and size. So, play with the fonts and get a print out of your choice!
