Alright, let’s just not scoff at manufacturers such as Casio, who do not wriggle under the limelight thick and fast. Nevertheless, it may tickle pink many to realize that there’s a whole new slew of amazing devices getting prepped inside the chambers. If the recently surfaced tidbits are to be believed, then gear up to latch on to the latest Casio 4G LTE quad-core handset and a few more G’Zone phones for Verizon.

Though the stated devices were glimpsed through lickety-split, the upcoming lineup showcases the company’s dedication towards Android, quad-cores and Verizon for this year. Yet to be named or have it revealed, the device apparently features a 4.5-inch or probably an even bigger Super AMOLED display for a clear viewing experience. Integrated with quad-core processor (most likely Tegra 3), the smartphone is anticipated to render an enhanced interaction with entertainment and multimedia.
There are also tittle-tattles that Casio’s 4G LTE handset will be exploiting the potent capabilities and features of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Sounds pretty interesting though! However, the mobile device will also be punching the clock with a powerful 2,000 mAh battery for continuous smooth operation and support for NFC capabilities. Users who enjoy capturing perfect moments in unprecedented sharpness should be pleased with its embedded 8 megapixel camera.
The exterior, on the other hand, has ostensibly been occupied with a headphone jack towards the top right and a USB port towards the top left. The device integrates a slot for microSD on its left surface whereas the right side gets settled with an easy to use volume rocker and lock switch. Presumably, the handset sports only the stated physical buttons – which could mean that device lends support to several on-screen soft keys, pretty much like seen on the Galaxy Nexus. As far as the overall appearance is concerned, Casio has kept it minimalistic yet highly visually appealing.
Besides Casio 4G LTE quad-core handset, the company is planning to unravel four new clamshell devices and a 5-inch handset doused in sheer white. The range also comprises of the brand new Commando G’Zone featuring a larger screen, most likely 5-inches. However, compared to the previous version, the revamped model frames a slightly bigger chassis. Nevertheless, the layout stays quite a lot similar and maintains the resistance to water and shock.
So, users who were literally hanging onto their hats for a feature-rich, sturdy handset may put their feet up with Casio’s this dedication. Since not much of the information has been divulged, we really cannot compare the devices with other phones that are buzzing the market. But, whatever we could see, it seems Casio wants to advance further with their Android-powered solutions and continue to design new products under the niche G’Zone portfolio.
Having said that, the pricing and availability details for new Casio phones also remain well under wraps! Hopefully, the coming days will shed some more light for us as well for those eager souls sitting out there.
