Till last week my Canon video camera was working very fine. But from last one week whenever I try to record any video from the video camera only red light blinks and nothing happens. I had tried with the different setting but only red light blinks and nothing record in it at all. My Canon video camera is not in warranty and I don’t want to spend money on it so can anyone tell me what might be the problem? And how can I fix this problem?

There are many reasons for blinking red light when you are trying to record any video from your Canon video camera. First, thing is that you may use the wrong video tape format as for this reason, you are getting this problem. Therefore, it is better to check the video tape format in your video camera and make sure that the video tape format is right or wrong. Another point to tell you that if you forget to set manually the right video tape setting in your video camera then you may get this problem. However, this mistake occurs very rare because any videographer like you commits mistake not very often. It may happen if you forget to recharge your video camera battery fully, then you may get this problem. Therefore, it is better to recharge your video camera battery fully before your shooting starts. Another point, you may think that your video tape may end and you have to check it. If your video tape is full then, you have to open another video tape for your recording. Therefore, the aforementioned reasons are a couple of clues, which will help to ascertain your problem, and you will able to solve it through a thorough check up of your video camera.
