Browsing files on iPhone 3GS is pretty much an easy task. This can be achieved by using the iPhone Spotlight Search function which enables users to browse contacts, applications, files and other items that may be stored on your iPhone 3GS. This feature facilitates fast browsing of desired files and avoids the need to go through long albums, libraries and lists. When you click on an item in the results list of Spotlight Search, your phone will automatically open the concerned file or application. Here is how to do it:

1. On your main Home screen, swipe your finger to the right which enables the iPhone spotlight search.

2. Start inputting a part of the file name which you wish to search or browse for. As you continue typing, a list of suggested results will appear under the search field column.

3. Browse through the suggested results list to find the exact match of your desired file by scrolling down.

4. To open the desired item, tap on it.

Alternatively, you can also try out various free and paid applications available for the iPhone 3GS. These applications are generally known as file browsers. You need to install such an application on your iPhone 3GS and then by using this application, you can search and browse your desired files.
