Speaker technology giant Bose has just released an all-new wireless speaker system especially designed for Apple devices. Named the SoundLink Air digital, the music system is designed to deliver powerful and clear sound via Bluetooth and AirPlay. The music system comprises of a single piece wireless speaker that can be synced to a computer’s iTunes library, the iPod touch, iPhone or iPad via a Wi-Fi network or AirPlay. Once connected, the user can then stream music from the iDevice into the speaker without having to dock the gadget. This allows users to continue using their device while enjoy their music.

Measuring 6 3/4" tall x 12" wide x 4" deep, the wireless music system comes with Bose’s proprietary digital signal processing, neodymium transducers and waveguide acoustic speaker technology which allows the sound to remain clear, natural and distortion free. The sound system only requires the user to complete a simple setup and connect the speaker to a home Wi-Fi network. Once synced, the Apple device will automatically begin showing an AirPlay icon. To play music via the SoundLink Air system, users simply need to select this icon.
The wireless speaker system can be controlled using an infrared remote control or through an Apple iOS device. To connect the speaker to other audio players, users can use the aux-in port. The wireless speaker can also be used as a portable sound streaming system since the speaker comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery which is retailed separately for $89.95. The Bose SoundLink Air wireless speaker system, retails for $349.95.
