Why batteries are not charging of my nikon coolpix cameras?

Hi there, your problem seems a bit absurd but still, have you checked your batteries with some other camera. It might be a very good chance that your batteries are dead, or there might be some internal circuit problem in your charger which is not visible from outside. It can also be that there is a loose connection or short circuit in the socket and the plug of the charger. It’s not very clear from your question that is your camera responding to other batteries? If your camera is not responding to the other battery also then there might be a chance that it’s the problem of the camera and not your batteries or charger. Maybe you need to look that first. If your camera doesn’t work then it might be that your charger is just good and so is your battery. The best advice would be to check all the things again as you did along with the camera also and if the problem still persists go and visit an expert for the matter preferable will be an authorized Nikon service center nearby. You will have to get it fixed otherwise it will be as good as a toy camera to you there is no other option.
