Aviva Life Insurance launches its own multi platform mobile application

Life insurance firm Aviva India has become the first company in India to launch its own mobile application. The multi-platform mobile application has been developed on JQuery platform and is aimed at making customer service more efficient for the company’s customers. Dubbed Aviva Mobile, the application allows customers to access Aviva India’s product suite, pay premiums, place requests for premium receipts, check their fund and policy details and keep track of their investments. The user friendly application can be downloaded for free on an iOS RIM/Blackberry or Android based mobile phone or tablet.

The application also lets users get instant weather updates, check live cricket scores and access the latest stock market news. The Aviva Mobile application can also be used to connect to customer care from anywhere in the world, update policy details, register grievances and locate Aviva branches.

Aviva India is hoping that the application will allow customers to manage their policies and investments with the company more easily and make the service more efficient as well. Since the company is the first in India to provide customers with such a service, it can also help boost business and cut down on operational costs while improving the company’s relationship with their customers. The Aviva Mobile application can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
