Beetle has ruled the hearts for decades – so much so that its lovers appreciate it in any form. And one here in question is to mesmerize the art lovers and eco geeks equally. The reason being, the life sized replica of Beetle has been carved out of 2805 scrap material bits and pieces.

However, before we talk about the awesome Beetle, let me tell you that this art car comes out of the skilled hands of Haribaabu Natesaan who built it for the ‘Think Blue’ campaign of VW; and presented this beautiful piece of art through his creativity.
This Beetle art piece is made up of 60 mother boards, 800 spark plugs, 800 cold drink crowns, 200 bottle caps, telecom wires, hard disks, computer key boards, beer cans, barbecue sticks, a flat screen monitor, audio cassettes, type writers, pens, CDs and speakers. The scrap pieces used were collected through clean up drives that Volkswagen undertook as a part of its ‘Think Blue’ campaign.
What’s unique is how Haribaabu Natesaan managed to mold all the parts together to create this beautiful Volkswagen 'Think Blue' which looks like the original Beetle. This beautiful, one of a kind masterpiece will be showcased at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai, India, from February 4th to 12th and later, in various parts of the country to promote recycling and sustainability. After the Kala Ghoda art festival, the Beetle art car would be showcased in Germany.
