Areas where eBook readers have outpaced tablets

Tablets and eBook readers are new on the market. eReaders have been in stores for four years. Sony and Apple rolled out the first electronic slate for reading eBooks, magazines and newspapers in 2007. Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Sony Readers gained huge popularity over the years. As of now, we have lots of incredible eReaders such as Amazon Kindle Touch 3G, Sony Reader PRS-T1 Wi-Fi, Kobo eReader, Barnes & Noble’s Nook Color and many others.

On the other side, tablets have a very shot history. The first official tablet of the world, Apple iPad hit stores in 2010. Tablets are multimedia devices for multiple purposes like film watching, web surfing, image viewing and eReading also. After iPad, there appeared a number of outstanding tablets that include Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Motorola Xoom and innumerable others. In fact, both tablets and eReaders are necessary for the modern era.
