Arduino-run cocktail machine lets guests mix their own drinks

They say mixing cocktails is an art that can be imitated by many but only perfected by a few. For people who really don’t like taking chances when it comes to the recipes of their favorite cocktails, the only real option of getting the perfect drink at a party is getting up and making one themselves. That of course doesn’t make mingling very easy which is after all half the fun of being at a party where booze is being served. To save perfectionists, controls freaks and people with OCD the heartache of being asked to drink a less than perfect cocktail, a couple of boozehead nerds created this amazing robotic cocktail mixer called ‘The Inebriator’.

The DIY Arduino-run cocktail machine basically comes with a selection of liquors and uses an Arduino microcontroller to let people mix from up to 15 cocktail recipes without fuss. To make a drink, a user has to fill a glass with ice, place it in the machine, select a cocktail and wait for the machine to do the rest. The Inebriator is designed to measure and add ingredients for the preselected recipe automatically which ensures that each drink tastes perfect. The Inebriator makes a great addition to any party and gives guests the freedom to mix their own drinks while the host gets to enjoy their own party. The amazing Inebriator of course is not for sale and anyone who wants one of these would have to build one for themselves using open source codes provided by the robotic cocktail mixer’s makers.
