How to get apps on ipod touch to the iPod?

Hey. I was gifted an iPad on my birthday from my mom. I have a an iPad with me. I wanted to get apps on ipod touch to the iPod but I have not yet figured out the method of doing so. Could you tell me the method that I can devise to get apps that I have on my iPod to my iPad. Also I would like to know of some cool iPad apps that can be fun and interesting for the iPad starters. I am a good reader and I love to read new arrivals in the novel and poetry section so I would love to know of some apps of this kind that are supported by an iPad. All the best to you guys.

First of all go to the app store application on your iPod,find the app you want on there, click the download or buy it now button in theupper right hand over corner of the screen, go into your apple id and passwordand it will be downloaded to your Springboard. Create an account with username andpassword. Approve both your computer and your iPod Touch as authorized computers for youriTunes account. Go to the menu Store-Authorize Computer at the top of theiTunes window. Once you've done this, you should be able to select iTunes Storefrom the items on the left side and enter your password to start downloadingapplications. Once you have the stuff in iTunes that you want on your iPod,they will be copied over when you do Sync.
