What exactly a consumer really wants for a specific brand?

Is there any research that explores if brands should have one app that has multiple functions vs. multiple apps with singular functions? I'm looking for any research that explores consumer needs around the number of apps and functions an app is capable of performing. I also want to know what exactly a consumer really wants for a specific brand. Is there any fact based research that can answer all my questions? Please help.

Application with multiple functions is far better than application with singular functions. Because the multiple functional application will give you the maximum opportunity to run the simultaneous works with minimum time. It will also save you time and money as well. The singular functional application will give you to run one job at a time so that you will require more time and spend more. This is not acceptable for our fast life where we are running for speed and also asking for performance. Actually, in reality, if we accept an application that performs the singular function, then we cannot reach our optimum level because of our inability to cope with the fast pace of our life. So for this reason we also are asking for an application that will perform the maximum jobs with a minimum time frame. Even if an application does not perform according to our need then we instantly reject it without any hesitation. It is better to accept the multiple functional application which will give us the better service and satisfaction. If we attached with the multiple functional application, then our life will be smooth, and it will fulfill our dreams. The singular functional application never withstands with a heavy load of works but the multiple functional application can easily withstand the heavy loads of works without any trouble.
