Tablet market is getting crowded with quite a lot of products. Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS has encouraged several manufactures to build tablets. Since the operating system is an open source platform, there is no obstruction for a technology maker to run it on its tablet. Of course, it is here that Google Android differs from other OS platforms like Apple iOS and Microsoft Windows Phone.
But here is a challenge. Once the software is allowed to all, there will be lots of shoddier products. So, being a customer, you might have to differentiate the best ones from others while going out to pick one.
