A year after it appeared in the U.S., the Amazon's Cloud Drive is finally on offer in Britain. Using the same interface as the American version, the storage will be accessible via the Amazon site and users can alternatively download the standalone Amazon Cloud Drive Desktop App for PC or Mac to enable drag-and-drop functionality. One of the major concerns for UK users so far had been the pricing for the storage since most American products tend to cost a bit more for British users. Amazon, however, is eliminating this common complaint by offering the cloud drive at the same price to customers across the pond.

The Amazon Cloud Drive comes with 5 GB of free storage which is sufficient to store around two thousand photos or a thousand songs. This space can be used by the account holder as they want and they will never be asked to pay anything for using this storage space. The storage can be upgraded starting at £6 a year ($10) for 20 GB space while the highest storage package costs £320 ($500) a year for 1000 GB. The Amazon Cloud Drive allows users to back up digital files like videos, documents and photos in the cloud via computers or devices connected to the internet. The drive can be easily accessed and stored via Cloud Drive Desktop App.
