How to add RADIUS server capability to Windows 2000 server?

I have win 2000 server and I want to add remote authentication dial-in user service (RADIUS) which is a benchmark protocol for the authentication and accounting of remote user access. Internet authentication service (IAS) is the Microsoft functioning of a RADIUS server and it facilitates the Windows 2000 Server to work as a RADIUS server. So tell me How to add RADIUS server ability to Windows 2000 server?

Hello, I'd suggest you to do the following to add RADIUS server capability on you Windows Server 2000 installation.

-- On your server, click Start and go to Control Panel.

-- Go to Add/Remove programs.

-- Go to Add/Remove Windows Components.

-- Under the Components menu, you would find Networking Services. Please click Details.

-- Now you need to select the check box that says Internet Authentication Service, say OK and click the Next button to install the service.

Once you have installed Internet Authentication Service, you can go to Administrative Tools, go to Internet Authentication Service. Here you can set the features that you'd like to use.

Hope this helped.

Thanks.
