How to add gadgets for google desktop?

I have a desktop pc and when I clicked "add on" several gadgets, they didn’t appear on the Desktop. In fact, I don't know where they went. I tried many times. Well, all this was originally installed at the store. I lost all of this after a Windows update, today, that automatically made Bing my home page. I was able to change back to Google but I cannot figure how to add gadgets to Google Desktop homepage. Please help.

Hie…I am using Google gadgets for a year and I have also an experience of using Yahoo widgets and windows gadgets. All I can say is Google is really cool when it comes to web world. No one can compete it. Google gadgets are the best way to keep you up with the best information of the world. Since I have created my own page and have activated all sorts of gadgets on the age, I have always stayed connected with the world. Now I can read my tweets, news related to business, entertainment and sports at a single page. If I have to describe Google gadgets in one line, then I would say that it is a single page of your own in which you can store or get day by day or instant information about the subject of your interest. Some of the famous Google gadgets are YouTube, Gmail, Personalized Horoscope, Crick crazy, Cnn.com, Puzzle, Birthday reminder and Motivational quotes. You simply have to type iGoogle on Google and you will see list of all the gadgets and you can choose. And this way you will be able to add them and without having any knowledge of web languages, you have created your own home page. I am sure you can make your own page now.
